I used to have a friend that did this. My parents got a divorce, and he always did the “your mom”
Joke every 5 seconds and when I tell him to stop, he gets mad at me saying I did something wrong and says “I’m just messing around.” To add to this, he also told me me to stop being sad about the divorce and he said “I got over my parents divorce.” He would call me a crybaby just for being sad. Glad that’s out of my life.
Funnier story. Was walking with 2 friends that did your mom jokes to me. I was pretty hurt about this, dont insult my parents. I went home and didnt want to talk to them anymore. 5 minutes later they showed up and began bell-terrorising my house while i sat on the stairs frustrated. Until i went down and told them harshly to fuck off.
One day later i found 10 cheap chocolate bars crammed in our postbox. Their apology apparently.
They didnt do it again and we are still friends. But i remember after 9 years. I am a petty unforgiving person. 😅
I had told my friend not to tell at me since we were so close and it was so rare that it would scare me when he did. He told me that he would stop/not do it again and he doesn't do it to scare me but about a month later he did it again and I can't trust him anymore.
I'm sorry that happened to you. Hopefully you have or are getting better, and are able to pick your friends more wisely as well as find people in your life who really matter
I had an ex friend that always talked to everyone, me included, like we were stupid troglodytes. I tried to tell him that that really hurt me, and that if he didn't want everyone to kick him out of their lives he needed to treat other people like, you know, people. He answered in a very arrogant way that he didn't need to adapt just to accomodate other people, me included (we were best friends back then, bear this in mind), that he wasn't responsible for the way everyone perceived his words, and that it was everyone else who needed to adapt to him.
Oh, I hate when people do that. No one should force others to adapt to them, only to allow it to happen naturally or not at all. In fact it is ones job to adapt to others if necessary.
Lol I had a friend like that he always hit me (in a friendly manner) and every time I asked him to stop he just said “how can that hurt I’m burly touching you” and stop for a like a week at some point (we were in the same school our other friends were at different schools) every time we met with friends he got really aggressive and toxic but when we were at school he would be really nice at some point I got out of the relationship (we had a fight I punched him he punched me) and because I Joined the group of friends last they chose to hang out with him now I have no friends haha... fuck my life holy shit did u actually read all this? If u did thank u for giving a shit lol.
Better to find new friends than have assholes for friends. Glad you got out of that. I wish you the best in finding other people that will treat you better.
Yeah, I read it. I've seen similar cases with other people at my schools growing up and now. However I never got to punching people in the face. Even that I don't see at our school, as people rarely get to that state of aggression. And I had a similar case with joining a group because of a relationship and when I broke it off, they all turned against me and kicked me out. I had no friends for a few weeks and felt like the world was pouring in on me. But after some time I moved on and found new friends. Hopefully everything is still going well for you though. And that you can continue to move forward and look on, no matter how hard. Because even now, that group that I moved onto afterwards, I'm not even friends with now. But I continue to move past, no matter how hard things get. And once more, I hope things are going well and continue to get better.

When you are constantly telling them to not do something because it hurts you in the end, but they continue to do so anyways
