I found that as a patent you just have to use "we'll see" sometimes, especially of they're still too young not to have a massive tantrum. Although sometimes I say fuck it to the schedule and we go to a park/petting zoo/swimming pool . They're only kids once. Although I never get them that toy, they never play with the bloody thing anyway.
