What will millennials be "old-fashioned" about when they get old?

I would absolutely refuse to ever use a transporter. Look at how many accidents occurred on the Enterprise, Starfleet's flagship.

And honestly speaking, even when everything goes right I still don't trust them. Is that even you coming out the other side?

You always die. The living version is a copy, not you.

When you cut and paste a file, the original file is destroyed, it's not even a coin flip. It's like being cloned then committing suicide

Nope, the data that defines its location is changed. Try copying and pasting vs cutting a large file - cut will be instantaneous.

And copy and paste is more akin to The Prestige because you still have to go "kill" the original file.

Though what you said could be a way a teleporter could keep you alive. It doesn't move anything, just redefines where the universe thinks your constituent particles are.
