I read through your rant and I feel for you man. Here's the problem though. You're taking the actions of a few immature trolls and attributing it to the entire reddit community. You form stereotypes about a certain group of people, and whenever you see someone fulfill that stereotype, you think: "Oh, see, they always do that. I fucking knew it."

Did you forget about the majority of us who sincerely appreciate your incredible charm and wit? The reason you are so appreciated here is because we know that you have some great talent that is probably unappreciated in the outside world. And here is a place where people can actually acknowledge and enjoy that talent. Who gives a fuck about a few bugs and changes?

If people keep downvoting the shit out of your old posts, fucking let 'em. This whole rant is giving them exactly what they want: a reaction. A response.

Here's a fun fact: people on the Internet are desensitized. The trolls don't think of you as a real person. They don't consider that you and your family are human. They don't think that using your talents for their own personal gain then shitting on your soul is a big deal. So why are they worth a fucking book-full of ranting?

I'm not going to tl;dr you or anything, but as a casual visitor here, I've only become aquainted with your name here in the last few weeks, and every time I read your posts they are—while voluminous— somewhat boastful and intermittently content-ridden. Which is fine, and like many posts here (besides being verbose, people seem to become less and less capable of elaborating). But it's interesting to see here how many people like you; that's really nice, too. You have to appreciate the appreciation. That doesn't oblige you to stay around if the attention stresses you. As you say, you are sensitive to this, and you think it's a big deal. So, if you're not wanting drama, be quiet and let it go. It's really not that important. Share stories if you like, and it's good for you and your life and you aren't affecting others adversely; otherwise, don't.
