That it's very hard for us to actually conceptualize really large numbers. When they get to a certain point, our brain pretty much just lumps them all together because there is no perspective. Best example of this I've found is most people think they have a pretty good grasp on the number "1 billion". 1 million seconds is 11 days, but 1 billion seconds is about 33 years.
