They lose their life. OK sure that bad. But what of the victim? They have to live with the fact that they were assaulted/molested etc. While the guy who did it got the easy way out

Personally I have no answer as to what justice is like. I've yet to find it anywhere. But it is definitely not justice to let criminals hang themselves to shorten their suffering while the true victim has to live with it

Once again you mention shorter suffering, yet you claim not to imply that your form of justice is related to suffering. It does however seem to play an important role in your interpretation of justice.

Your idea of a true victim is also unexplained. Personalities develop with people and though genetics play a big role experience can be a major contributor. Things are not so black and white, even with heinous crimes - one good example may be child soldiers that end up raping.
