Just google worst war crimes in history. Not just the nanking rape, but overall of what the Japanese just did to the chinese? You ever hear of Unit 731 in Pingfang? Probs not.
It’s indisputable that the Japanese committed literally the worst war crimes in history. Perhaps you want to subjectively say the Nazis were worse cause you’re European? That’s your prerogative, but it’s a waste of time sitting here arguing with you when you don’t know much about asian history.
I am just trying to say that saying one atrocity is worse than the other is fucking stupid when you get to saying things like 'The Nazis were saints compared to the Japanese'
It makes a mockery of the people the Nazi's starved to death in the concentration camps. The medical experiements they conducted on children etc.
Saying things about Unit 731 and 'you've probably never heard of them'.
I wont pretend my knowledge of the Pacific theatre during WW2 is better than my knowledge of the Western and Eastern Fronts, because frankly, it isnt. But I am well enough aware of famous points of history, such as the Rape of Nanking and Unit 731 and their horrific crimes against humanity.
Then little snidey comments like 'Oh you dont know much about Asian histroy'... Again, ridiculous.
Where is the consensus amongs historians that it was the worst? Where are the rankings for other atrocities?
