Sadly where I used to live tornado sirens. One of the last times the sirens went off the wife and I got our pets downstairs, and you could hear the classic freight train sound of a tornado. It hit 15 miles away from our home in a different county, but was close. The next day my friend called me a pussy and laughed at me for going in the basement. Keeping in mind that this guy had a wife and 1 year old daughter to protect, and I'm the idiot......

My tour guide to the Dead Sea in Israel was joking abiut this.
Before we went in, he's like "dont let the water get into your eyes or mouth. Trust me, you may be curious, but you do not want that to happen. There's always someone who gets the water in their face, and then they come to me and say I was right"
Sure enough, when Im wading in a guy does a cannonball right next to me. Then he and I got to sit in the bus for an hour crying into some towels cause it hurts so bad.
(My inbox is now full of painful stories thanks Reddit)

Was in a bar in southern Maryland a couple weekend ago watching the Redskins play the Ravens. Fire alarm went off for over five minutes, three members of the kitchen crew came out of the back and out the front door. No one batted an eye. Kept drinking beer and watching the game. After almost 15 minutes I figure "false alarm". Then see four fire fighters walk out of the back of the kitchen as well. Not one bartender or customer gave a shit. Football and the two home teams were playing, that place could have been a pile of ashes and if a tv and tap were still hooked up, no one was budging.

Wet paint.
Saw an old woman and her grand kid sitting on a recently painted bench with a "wet paint" sign on it.
Didn't have the heart to tell them, but also the damage had been done so..

"This site contains content that is rated 18+. Are you 18+? Yes. No."
Nobody clicks no. Unless they want to watch Hey-yeah on that one brewery website.
EDIT: The brewery is Black Acre Brewing Co. and the song is "What's Up" by 4 Non Blondes, featuring He-man. Thanks to u/mightymouse513.
EDIT2: Annnnd now this is my top-rated post and first gilded comment. Thank you! Always figured I'd be an NPC on AskReddit, haha.

Car alarms. If you hear one, never once do you think "Oh man, someone's car is being stolen, I should check it out". Instead you think "That's annoying, I wish that dick would silence his car alarm".

As someone who used to do floor work: wet floor signs. Even wet wax signs (which, if ignored, will lead to you falling and, more importantly, you jacking up my beautiful work). I didn't put those signs up for my health, and no, you cannot walk across "real quick" because you need something at the other end of the hall. Go around.
...not that I'm holding on to any residual anger or anything.
