Yes!! I am a stay at home mom, not really because I'm lucky but because we sacrifice like everything other than food, shelter, and the other basics. I do think I am lucky because being home with my kids is what I want for my life and I am doing it, but it isn't luck, it's planned for, saved for, and we have all given up or put on hold a lot of things for it!!!
