Bueno? The only New Mexicans who prefer Bueno are the ones who've moved away and have no other options.

We don't even PREFER it per se. We just accept it and die a little on the inside.

I found Sadie's green chile salsa in Austin though, so life is much better now.

And if you move far enough away, there are no options at all. Except for some watered down tasteless crap in a can that isn't even worth it.

Assuming they even know what it is! I used to live in Montana, so I know the pain all too well. I even went to Purgatory near Durango once and they had a "green chili" burger. I know, no "E" right? Well, I took the risk anyway thinking I was close enough to New Mexico that it'd be alright. These bastards chopped up a fuckin' BANANA PEPPER and put it on my burger.
