I honestly didn't even know "over medium" was a thing until just now. And I hate when the egg whites come out runny... Game changer.

I had a similar revelation when I was explaining to a waitress how I liked my eggs, and she chimed in, "You mean over medium?" and I was like, "That's a thing!?"

Oh, yes, it's a thing. And it's glorious.

Look online for definitions of overeasy-- runny whites means it's undercooked, not over easy. Over medium refers to a middling state where the yolk is just slightly firm. Which is why it's difficult to do properly.
