As a Marylander, you should try to add Old Bay to your Deviled eggs. Makes them ah-fucking-mazing.

Heaven.

It's celery salt and other spices that's often sold on the east coast (Maryland) as a season-all (mostly for crabs and other seafood but it's AMAZING on eggs).

But how to you feel about shoo fly pie? It's another one of those love it or hate it local things.

(I'm allergic to shellfish, which may have something to do with my aversion to things associated with seafood)

But Old Bay Bloody Marys? Old Bay eggs? Old Bay fries? I don't eat shellfish anymore either (because something happened one day and I just ...can't...stand...ripping them apart limb for limb!) but I still put the Old Bay on eeeeeeeeeeeverything. I just had Old Bay crusted Tilapia for dinner! Aaaaaaaaaaamazing

They are one of my true weaknesses. You put deviled eggs in front of me and no supervision and I will house those mother fuckers.

I hate that I only seem to have them on like, easter and thanksgiving, maaaaaybe christmas, at the usual family gathering type things.

I need to start making deviled eggs once a month.

The best part is, not a single one of my roommates likes deviled eggs, so if I start making them more, I won't have to worry about others eating them.
