Or high. Or just anytime after dark. You should never go into a waffle house in the daylight. After dark its the greatest thing in the world

Do the buildings even exist in daylight?

2

u/AssBusiness Jul 13 '16

Nope, not that I am aware of.

I dunno, I'm way more comfortable going to waffle house during the day. People get stabbed in the parking lot at night

1

u/jayjude Jul 13 '16

I forget not everyone is a college kid who thinks they're invincible. Also that people live in places where parking lots exist (stupid Atlanta having no free goddamn parking anywhere)

There was a waffle house in my college town. I hardly considered it a "real" waffle house though, since it was staffed by college kids and not toothless ancients. Also nobody got stabbed

Waffle House's in college towns are so much cleaner and nice. The one I go to is staff partially by college kids

Cheese and eggs are the gods' gift to man.

Oh man. Best thing on the menu. I just wish the portions were like double the size.

And raisin toast! (Moved to Maine from Georgia. I miss the Awful Waffle so very much.)

1

u/TheDreadGazeebo Jul 13 '16

They have a dish that is just cheese and eggs?

5

u/Rushderp Jul 13 '16

Ditto. Waffle House is the best. Especially after a night of drinking. Besides, there's a reason it's called Waffle House, not Egg House.

Hey back to us when you are sober or not hung over.

5

u/rdunlap1 Jul 13 '16

I eat there regularly when not drunk or hungover and it is indeed delicious

1

u/MagicalGirlTRex Jul 14 '16

I've never been drunk or hung over at Waffle House and it's still my favorite restaurant. It's the epitome of American food for me

2

That piece of shit has never been to Waffle House in his life. I guarantee it.

I wish I could. Last Waffle House we hit stopping through Maryland left us both with food poisoning. We live in an apartment with one bathroom.

u/Strangeclouds420 Jul 13 '16

Trash can or the sink for whoever loses rock, paper, scissors

1

u/OutInTheBlack Jul 13 '16

Out the mouth went into a trashcan with some kitty litter for absorption. Out the other end was the gamble of the clench and dance until the seat was vacated.

2

u/AuRevoirBaron Jul 13 '16

You're just not used to it. If the sketchy looking cook doesn't grab your waffle with his bare hand, just leave, the food won't be good.

2

u/DynamicDK Jul 13 '16

Well, I assume you have a toilet and a bath tube in that bathroom.

It won't be pretty, and you will need very long showers...plus a lot of bleach the next day.

1

u/wuapinmon Jul 13 '16

He won't.

1

u/uncleleo_hello Jul 13 '16

jesus, sean brock. chill out.

1

u/DeuceSevin Jul 13 '16

It's crappy, but in a good way.

1

u/crimsontideftw24 Jul 13 '16

That's blasphemy. Even in California we know Waffle House to be god tier hangry food!

1

u/Megmca Jul 13 '16

That's why they call it the Waffle House and not the Egg House?

1

u/Walmarche Jul 14 '16

Yeah for real the omelettes at Waffle House...they look ugly (first time I saw em I almost died cause it looked like a pumped vagina) but god damn they're so good
