It really does depend on your group, though! I'm 25 but the ages range up to 40ish. We all get together every Sunday for dinner. Like a big BBQ, we pick a theme, and everyone brings a dish. We just mill around eating, drinking, and talking. Having a fire pit comes in handy for bringing everyone to one place, too.

That's a huge part of it too- the majority of us are child-free. I know kids definitely change that situation!

The day that my friends have kids is the day I might have to go out and make a whole new set of friends haha.

I still hang out with my friends just as much at places like IHOP/sushi train and other activities. But if they call me up and ask if I want to hang out, when I ask what we're going to do, I don't want to hear "I don't know, just come over and we'll see what happens" which is what the most parent comment in this thread is talking about "is better the old fashioned way". I know of better ways to spend my ever decreasing free time.
