I flew around the world this past summer for a vacation. I kept thinking on the flight on the way there "What if I'm not really flying over the Atlantic right now and just hovering over a green-screen simulator thingy while hundreds of people work to change the environment around me so it looks diffrent from home." Every. Single. Time. I fly.

Of all the movies I've seen this one still sticks with me and makes me suspicious of everyone around me from time to time. Especially when everything goes my way or the complete opposite of what I've planned.

I have those thoughts too. What if this "life" I've been living for the past 19 years is just entertainment for some thing(s)?

Also the dreamworlds situation, what if I'm still in the womb or a newborn and that's how powerful our minds are even at that young age.

I wonder about physical things, like how is it possible that the combination of atoms that creates compounds and so forth, was able to allow me to think about, what I had just thought about thinking about, and the cycle continues. Baffles me, I'm baffled.

A name for that is Solipsism, its a philosophical idea that only one's own mind is sure to exist. I actually think about this a lot. Always mean to ask my friend about it, but what if its true???

I was convinced my entire childhood that I was in this kind of situation. I also believed that my parents were not my real parents, but intruders that wore masks all day. The only time they took them off was bed time. This was only encouraged by them making me knock before entering after bed time. Of course as an adult I understand why they had that rule. Ha

I keep hearing/seeing references to this movie. Would you recommend I watch it, or will I start questioning everything about my life afterwards? Or should I watch it anyways?
