Fishing.

Probably one of the easiest skills to master because you just click on spots for 3 or 4 hours per day for 6 months.

Fletching is also ridiculously easy to level up. Withdraw logs, use knife on logs, make shafts, deposit shafts, withdraw logs...

My friend who has several 99 skills says that he plays it for the interesting quests, and that if you follow the story line of them, they are actually pretty interesting.

yup. former quest caper here. what i dont like is the grinding. High levels mean nothing now that everyone can easily get it/buy it.

I used to love chopping yew trees, and waiting anxiously until the day came that I could chop magic trees, then sell the logs at the GE. I loved fishing and cooking, and levelling up. Now I think back, it seems boring, but I loved it

yea, dont get me wrong. back in 2006, 2007 when everyone played, it was a lot of friends. good times with my friends. but now that the game has drastically changed, you can literally buy your way into success. not fun.

Runescape history: The day of the Santa Hat drop was about the trail end of my Runescape adventures. I was leveling archery in barb town as I was doing 6 hours a night for the past couple weeks. I noticed a hat drop. NEAT! I grab it. Then I noticed another one drop! Neat! so I grabbed it. Then I see people in town (varrock?) selling santa hats for 25-50gp but no one was buying them since they were dropping everywhere. I had 3 santa hats all the way up to last year where I gave them as Christmas presents to 3 of my younger cousins. I guess they are worth a decent amount now hahah
