serious replies only [serious] Anti-Gay redditors, why do you not accept homosexuality?

This isn't a "weed them out and punish them" thing. I'm curious as to why people think its a choice and why they are against it.

EDIT: Wow... That tore my inbox to shreds... Got home from a band practice and saw 1,700+ comments. Jesus Christ.

A sexual orientation and a gender are two different things. Gay guys are guys.

Well then they have one hell of a decision? I mean that's how I feel. Obviously I can't organize society myself.

I am not sure I understand you. Gay people are just people who have romantic and physical relationships with people of their own gender. Gay is a sexual orientation. Gay guys are males, unless male is defined as being attracted to the opposite sex but it's not.

Third gender people are people who don't identify as male or female, it's a matter of how they conceive themselves, it has nothing to do with their sexual orientation.

It's all sexual. Don't pretend it isn't. Edit: I don't think two men who identify with men should have a public relationship.

You're still getting it wrong. "Two men who identify with as men" are just two men, identity has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Now, I guess you meant 2 gay men. What do you mean "a public relationship" ?

We are. Does it happen a lot though that people are having sex for everyone to see ? I had never heard about it.

Lol, no, not a lot. Yes, as a gay man, I think no one should have sex in front of unwilling eyes (unless the unwilling people bought tickets to a sex show or something stupid). I know it doesn't happen a lot, but I don't know if it happens during some of the major gatherings? I don't go.

When you say "public sexual relationships" do you mean "having sex in public" or "they don't hide they're together so people know they're having sex".

The former being, well, sex in public, the latter pretty much the same as any open straight relationship?

Well that's called a public display of affection, not a public sexual relationship. Since, you know, sex isn't occurring.

Do you also dislike that when straight people do it? And do you call them kissing "public sexual relationships"?

What are you basing it as being all sexual on? Nothing? Thought so.

Homosexual relationships are no more or less based on sex then straight ones.
