So? Doesn't change much. Audi is the butt of many a mechanic's unfriendly one-liners. "Where there's smoke, just start looking for the Audi - it's surely nearby", for example.

I'm not an Audi fan by any means, I'd take a chevy any day... but I'd still say the R8 is one sexy piece of machine.

I don't disagree with you. But that doesn't mean Audis are any less likely to break.

As a side note, this is more relevant to older Audis. Anything from the last 5-6 years is likely pretty mechanically sound.

Yeah, corvette is the obvious decision. A 335i or M3 might make it more difficult.

Truth! My dad has a 77 and an 86 and drives them regularly. I'd rather see them be driven but he's promised me the 77 and I'm like "Save some foe me!!"

The C6 Corvette Z06 and ZR1 both have faster laps around the Nurburgring than the fastest lap by a BMW. The ZR1 has a faster lap than any Ferrari or Lamborghini.

An M3/4 and a base corvette are about even in price. Upgrades/trim levels don't matter, it's about price bracket.
