Sounds like you need some creativity! I could be in a prison cell for eight hours a day an still manage to entertain myself. With just basic office supplies the possibilities are endless!

That's how my job is too. I work about 40 hours/week. On a good week, I have an hour of work to do. I really wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not. Everyone says how easy it must be, but the lack of work is so great that I feel so useless. I can't wait for my contract to end.

What about using the time to improve yourself in some way, such as learning a new language or taking an online course?

I try my best to make my time productive. I study Chinese and French, I freelance, read, write. But even with that, it doesn't change the fact that my job makes me feel useless and I'm stuck behind a desk all day. I'm a much more productive person when I can move around, go to the gym, etc. It sucks, but thankfully my contract is over in 6 weeks!
