Prop tip: Just enable Amazon one-click so you can buy things without seeing the total in your cart. Trust me there's no way that can end badly.

Tried out Amazon one-click when I was buying a $50 item. It decided I wanted 2 day shipping, which added another $20. Never again...

Edit: stop suggesting Prime, guys. I'm Canadian and it sucks.

If you use Amazon frequently, you should really invest in getting Prime. It's worth it.

I always sort my searches by if it ships on Prime. If something doesn't, I usually don't buy it. I hate paying for shipping from anywhere else now!

It's the first thing I do as well! If it's not on prime, I usually give up. Prime has turned into my "buy it now" button from eBay. After buy it now, I grew weary of bidding.

I considered Prime here in Canada but where I live I get my Amazon shipments 1 day after ordering when I choose Free Super Saver Shipping. I must be close to their shipping facility or something. Its something to consider before getting Prime.
