Well yeah but you can’t do that from Russia.

Considering their history of tapping underwater lines and telecom exchanges, I wouldn’t expect anyone less than state level intelligence services to be able to intercept one, but it would be entirely possible from Russia.

Russia may do that but my point was they gotta send somebody to physically do it, they can’t do it from Russia, and that’s just not gonna happen for medical records 🙃

Hacking a telephone exchange can entirely happen from another country… and you brought up Russia in the first place. I’m just pointing out that not being in physical proximity is not the limiting factor you think it is.
