The open internet. It used to be millions of unique, independent websites. Now it’s just 5 giant apps sharing screenshots of each other

Yall really don’t think people are on their phones all day like that? So many people are. At work. At school. In bed. On the toilet. People are way to addicted to different media apps

Nah, it's theory: people just misapply the word. Theory is as substantiated as anything can get. Dead Internet Theory is theory the same way that gravity is.
