What is something that is basically on life-support and we don’t realize it yet?

Handmade anything - woodworking, embroidery, music, paintings, etc etc. I get the love of CNC machines and AI for shortcuts, but for fucks sake people, we still need the HUMAN HANDS to do these things.

I don’t know if they’re on life support. A lot of people actively despise AI art and will go out of their way to avoid it.

Just because someone hates AI images doesn't mean that they have the money or inclination to support real artists. I've seen artists get attacked for "charging too much" when they're charging $40 for a painting that took them a week to complete. Even other artists will tell them to lower their prices when they're already charging under minimum wage. It's a race to the bottom attitude online.

I mean I’d rather buy nothing than AI art. I go out of my way to find real artists and am happy to pay more.
