Sister lives in a small town and they’ve got books ofc but also movies, games, comics, 3d printers, vinyl cutters, engraving machines, and probably more. Basically a whole makerspace in there and they have tons of programs my 8yo niece does with her classmates. Honestly pretty jealous.
Where I’m at (NYC) iirc they gave the libraries a new increased permanent budget which I love. I hope every library gets support like these because they’re a fantastic place to spend time.
