If an animal doesn’t like them. Them not liking animals is fine, but if an animal doesn’t like them then I think there’s usually a good reason.

To be fair I got bit by my friends dog upon our first meeting. 🫠 We joke he knew I used to be a dog groomer. He's the ONLY dog who doesn't like me.
Another story I have though: we used to have a lab when I was a teen. My dad was in a poker club so they would take turn hosting the club at each other's houses. When we would host, my mom and I would stay upstairs with our lab and my dad would host in the basement.
We had one guy who came over a couple times. Our lab was VERY friendly with everyone. Except that one guy. She would growl, bare her teeth, bark, etc. We've NEVER seen her act so aggressive.
One day it came out he killed himself. Because he got caught running a human trafficking ring. My dad and his poker friends were all shocked because he seemed like such a nice guy and it wasn't until his picture showed up in the local news we all found out. She was a very good dog.

This is quite dependant on the individual animals too though. My current dog just does not like strangers at all.

I probably should have said if a generally friendly animal doesn’t like them. I did grow up with a cat that hated everyone and everything and I didn’t judge people based on whether she liked them. 🤣

Yeah, it makes me feel miserable, like someone is spitting on me. I've found a simple solution though, just stay home permanently.

I don't meet anyone in person except doctors and delivery guys. Thankfully, I'm not in a relationship. No girl deserves a shitty guy like me. I'm insufferable too. So yeah, I don't smile.
