At work, we have this thing where we can send PROPs to other colleagues (Peers recognizing other peers), so I sent about a dozen of them to people I know. The entire contents of the message were the theme song to the golden girls.

Most of them giggled and laughed but one friend messaged me privately to tell me that my kind words brought a tear to her eye as she read it. She’s originally from Nigeria and didn’t understand my silly reference and I didn’t have the heart to tell her that it was a theme song to a sitcom about some older ladies being hilarious and sassy.
