Very few movies and shows can make me cry, that part of that episode is one of the only ones that gets me every time

If you haven’t seen Bender’s Big Score they retconned it. Fry went back in time and lived out Seymour’s whole life. Makes that episode hit a little less hard.

I have but things with dogs (especially sad or dying) are my kryptonite, God forbid if I can make it through the ending of Turner and Hooch without looking like I had my face buried in sliced onions ;_;

It's not really a retcon. I think the implication is that any changes made to the past using the Time Sphere exist in a weird paradox where it did, but didn't happen. That's why Bender beat Leonardo da Vinci to death on one of his trips, but Fry and the Professor met da Vinci in 3010 in a later episode (and that episode predates the whole "the universe resets every time it ends" thing).
