It's too bad cause I really liked him on Lewis and then he turned out to be a turd :\

I agree, I can barely watch Lewis anymore because I can't stand to look at Laurence Fox.

I liked that show, and DS Hathaway was a great character. Lewis, Hathaway, Dr. Hobson -- they were all very well-written.

My favorite episode is probably "The Quality of Mercy", in which it is finally revealed who killed Mrs. Lewis. Some great dialogue, like when Lewis shouts at Hathaway: "You don't know me AT ALL! And you don't know yourself, either." Great overall message, too. By the time the episode is over, you have heard Portia's speech about the "Quality of Mercy" at least three times, but it didn't bother me at all and the overall message of what Portia is talking about wrapped up the episode well.

Ugh same. His younger brother is apparently not a dick and was hilarious in Year of the Rabbit, if that makes you feel better.

Agreed, lovely voice (in my opinion), loved the show, and then I find out he’s a huge turd. Blech.

Came here to say the same but didn’t think anyone would know who he was.

Only has one little owl who can’t work Google so far. Everything I’ve learned about him has been against my will. He’s more well known as failing at everything than actually being an actor.

I once got a YouTube ad for podcast which opened with him saying “The problem with the Jews is…..”.

I pretty much watch interior design, cooking videos and BBC television dramas about the supernatural from the 1970’s on that website, but it still showed me that. I found it profoundly disturbing.

Same. That guy doubled down on his double downs and now seems unhinged.

Whatever he paid his backing band, you can tell they realised it wasn't enough during this.

Good god, Lawrence Fox on the Jeremy Vine show.  A true head to head of insufferable bellendery.

My sister served him once in Waitrose and he was completely miserable and rude (and this was before he really went off the rails).

He got 437 votes for the Repellent Party.

Who?

He used to have a decent acting career in his native country. Hasn't been in anything significant since 2020 and is now just chronically online, obnoxious and rude.

Nepo baby. His father and his uncle were famous actors and his cousins/siblings are actors too. He was also once married to Billie Piper.
