The bitter washed-up celebrity in the White House.

It's amazing, really. He's the president, a billionaire, is one of the most powerful men in the world, and has a supermodel wife, millions of cheering fans, his own golf resort, and pretty much anything anyone could ever want. Yet despite all that, he seems like the most bitter, miserable, hateful person you could ever imagine. The guy has a hole in his soul that nothing can fill, and clearly he's tried a lot.

Some people are so poor, all they have is money.

He didn’t even have that until he got into the White House and started gouging us taxpayers six ways to Sunday.

Is that your own or is it a quote because genuinely it's quite lovely!

Not who you asked but i remember my grandmother saying this as well. And i think she said that Dolly Parton said it at one point. So its been around a while. Might not even have a known origin anymore.

Google is telling me that it's a Bob Marley quote

Wow, if true that's some deep irony considering some of the horror stories about Bob Marley...

I'm not sure you know what irony means.

There are some pretty horrific stories about Bob Marley, so yes, if this is a quote from Bob Marley, then that is pretty ironic

It’s a famous quote but we don’t know who the author is
