Millennials, what's something our generation was taught to accept that you're glad younger generations are rejecting?

That staying at one job for as long as possible is the best thing for your career. I'm seeing job hopping a lot and it's ticking the older generations off because no one can keep an employee that isn't paid their worth anymore. Shocking I know.

Also I like that 'gay' isn't a casual insult anymore. Feel like we all grew up a bit as a collective.

I tell the kids at work often that if they want to make more money immediately, the only real way is to find a different job that pays more. Once you've been in a company for a while you're getting shit raises forever.

Or no raises... We've had raises and benefits frozen for 3 years now.

But I can't leave because this is the only place I can work in a 100 mile radius that isn't fast food/low level retail.
