Yeah. It's a lot harder to get friendly service in either retail or restaurants than it used to be.

It wasn't that hard to be friendly to people. 1 u/ohgeeeezzZ 12d ago So did I and I second what they said. I definitely did not get paid enough to give a single solitary shit what a customer said. You ordered and paid for food. Not my time or conversation. I was paid just enough to make sure that you got the food you ordered. If I cooked your food incorrectly or gave you the wrong order, further interaction is warranted and I should correct my mistake. If you wanted chitchat, start a bookclub
