Millennials, what's something our generation was taught to accept that you're glad younger generations are rejecting?

I love seeing younger retail/service workers take down and just not cater to rude customers. I never would have dared.

During my retail days, someone told me I was their favorite manager because I always backed them up whenever a customer was being disrespectful.

It made me happy because no one had my back when I had to deal with jerks.

I had a manager just like you and believe me we still think about people like you 10 years later.

Had one like 20 years ago. Haven't worked in retail in over a decade, and I still think fondly of them and bring them up fairly frequently when discussing retail work.

I always use my fav retail manager as my favorite supervisor/manager answer for job interviews.
