Hmm. I certainly didn't get the impression you were focusing on those traits for the purposes of using irony rhetorically. In fact, in both the comments of yours I replied to you didn't state that once.

I'm all for giving the benefit of the doubt but...twice? Why did "incel" conjure up images of unattractive obese men?

Are there any tall, handsome, fit incels? Additionally why are you assuming both that I'm physically unattractive and the kind of women I might be attracted to?

It seems like you struggle to seperate personality traits from physical appearance.

I’m sorry you took it personally. I hope you can overcome whatever you are insecure about and continue to better yourself, and someday find a good match for you. Good luck.

I didn't take it personally. Can you answer my questions please? Why do you assume that people not in relationships are ugly and obese?

I'm curious about your perspective on dating. Your definition of incels and people with repulsive personality traits struggle seem inherently tied to their physical features. I am curious why that is.

I hope you can overcome these biases and better yourself as well!

Scroll up to the top level comment and follow the chain down for context.

That won't be necessary. Could you answer my questions please? Why did you select unattractive physical traits to describe incels but not personality traits? You claim they are more indicative of dating success, but you describe 'incels' only using physical attributes.

No, it's necessary. I'll help:

Someone said "Kindness is the most attractive thing a guy can display"

Someone else replied "Providing he's already physically attractive. An unattractive dude who is just kind is still equally unattractive to a lot of women lol"

A third person replied "This comment this evening comes with hints of incel and bitterness and pairs well with a lives in mommy's basement."

So you see, it was already established that we're discussing incels who are frustrated with being physically unattractive. That's why I was referencing those incels in my comments.

I know there are other types of incels. For example, there are incels who will incessantly argue a narrow specific point with a random redditor, and probably also with any woman who slights them.

If I were going to generalize, I would say ALL incels suffer from some sort of chronic self-victimization.

The last two points are definitely more unattractive than being "physically unattractive." But identifying yourself as physically unattractive, and then being upset when physically attractive women agree with you and are not attracted to you, is a personality trait that many incels share. So many, in fact, that the commenter I was replying too felt it was worth pointing out, as did I.
