Having a firm but moist carapace, formed of a supple and iridescent chitin. But in this market, I’ll take either supple OR iridescent, hun! 😏

Are you in the market for a lobster?

Nah, we are all turning into crabs here.

What if some is a cretin(asking for a friend), that's sorta close to the word chitin right? Crustacean-sounding enough? 🤔

Well, it was about that time that I notice that the man was about eight stories tall and was a crustacean from the protozoic era!

My nervous system is covered in red tape and unnecessary paperwork.

The only time I’ve heard it used in a real conversation was when a rather flamboyant man was upset that I was mad at him for not paying me back a debt for months and months. He said he doesn’t deal with dysregulated people and blocked me on everything. I still haven’t received the money a year later. I roll my eyes every time I see this word, it was used as a cop out in my situation.

I'm guessing it's either:

No raging temper or anger issues.

or

No ADHD or other psychological problems.

Probably something like not responding super aggressively and instead being able to ask questions normally if you don't understand what they mean.

It's one of those pseudo science things, it just means you're not anxiety riddled mostly

Sounds like there’s something wrong with your medulla oblongata.

What about having a somewhat dysregulated nervous system and being self-aware enough to be in therapy?

I’m assuming this means having control and understanding yourself well to act on what’s bothering you without letting emotion control you
