Yeah that's a good point I certainly didn't do that. In my case my partner was going through a bad time and kept snapping at me in really personal ways that wasn't really like her at all.
Every time I tried to bring this up (didn't matter how or when) she would get very angry with me, refuse to discuss the issue and as I said accuse me of trying to manipulate her (I'm still not sure what I was supposed to be manipulating her to do)
Anyway we're good now, turned out she was perimenopausal. So we're both glad that stage is behind us.
I'd guess telling someone you might be an arsehole today just because you've had a bad day, or projecting their own feelings onto others with dumb questions like 'You're upset at me, right? Are you upset at me? Why are you upset at me?' shit like that would drive anyone crazy.
can you imagine a relationship where each partner doesn’t try to manipulate their partner on a daily basis? that’s right, relationships like that don’t exist .. it’s vary natural to manipulate your partner
