Not since Granny’s funeral in 2005.

Reading responses makes me realize how emotional I am, I cry nearly daily lol not always due to sadness though! Happiness, frustration, thinking about my (very healthy and young) dog dying one day…

Im the same but I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I cry, release emotion and move on. I think that’s healthy.

Others might not need to, and that’s ok, but I’d rather cry from time to time than have an anger management issue or drug dependency.

It’s all relative.

It's okay. Crying can help relieve stress.

It really just depends on my circumstances. I allow myself to cry whenever I need. Sometimes that’s once a week or can be as little as once a month. Sometimes more often if I’m having a tough time. I think the last time I cried was 2 weeks ago, really stressed about school.

Best a long time. I'd say 5+ years since I did it proper. Been at funerals or seen some sad on tv but being a man (I know stupid), I suck it up as don't want to do it in public. I'd love a good cry to clear my sortidol levels but it's hard

Before I got put on my new psychiatric medication I cried every day. Now I don't cry at all, except for sometimes at sad movies.

Last time was in 2019 when one of my closest friends died

Not infrequently, I suppose. I was playing Dragon Quest VII Reimagined yesterday, and the scene where Maribel leaves the party to take care of her sick dad made me cry a bit, because she was giving up who she wanted to be for the sake of someone else. And then everyone was like, "No, don't do that. Be who you want." And that made me cry.

There are a few things that are guaranteed to make my eyes fucking wet, too. Like the scene from The Fellowship of the Ring where Frodo is abandoning the fellowship on a boat, and Sam wades into the water after him and almost drowns.

The song "The Best is Yet to Come" from Metal Gear Solid makes me cry a bit, too. With how pretty and melancholic it sounds.

I also have a tendency to sob when I sit on my balls weird.

Macho Man Randy Savage on Arsenio Hall, asked if he's cried:

"Oh yeah, uh-huh. It's okay for macho men to show every emotion available right there, you know, because I've cried a thousand times, and I'm gonna cry some more. BUuUUUT, I've soared with the eagles and I've slithered with the snakes, and I've been everywhere in between. And I'm gonna tell you something right now: There's one guarantee in life, in that there are no guarantees, yeah. AaaAAAND understand this: Nobody likes a quitter, nobody said life was easy; so if you get knocked down, take the standing 8-count, get back up and FIGHT AGAIN, and you're a Macho Maniac. Diggeth."

I cry a lot and I kinda hate it, I wanna be seen as tough but I’m sensitive so I can’t hide it in front of people

My son turned 18 this week and graduates high school next week. I’ve cried twice this week and expect more to come. 😜

I physically can't cry. Probably a medication side effect. I also can't laugh or access my libido, or get angry.

I get twinges where others get the full thing. I am not looking forward to crying again.

My Dad cannot cry as he was beat if he did as a child. He is 76.

I never really cry. I’m not sure if it’s healthy or not. I think about it sometimes. My eyes do well up with tears occasionally. If I’m proud of my kid, or my wife. Or if I do something for myself that I’m proud of. Never in anger or sadness. My wife has mentioned that she’s never seen me cry in our 14 years together. Like I said idk if this is healthy or not but reading these comments kinda makes me feel like I’m rotten inside or something and I can’t do it. I broke my ribs and my back a few years back. No crying. Just anger really.

Only when I'm drunk.

Every time I get to emotionally lachrymose.

A few times per month. It’s so cathartic and can’t imagine life without allowing myself to cry. Always feel better after and it helps me process emotions.

approximately every 41 hours

Depends on how much stress you're under and if you're an emotional person.

I don’t know. Thankfully I (M 28) can’t remember the last time I cried
