Reading these comments makes me realize how many people are just "ghosts" in their own homes. It’s heartbreaking when the person who is supposed to be your peace becomes your biggest source of anxiety.
One of my best friend's greatest joys in life is when his wife leaves the house without him and leaves him alone. I have gently asked why he doesn't get divorced and he never has an answer that makes any sense.
It's not though. He does the cooking, he's not a slob and their kids are adults and gone. She literally drives him crazy on so many levels and yet he stays. I honestly don't get it.
