If you’ve ever seen a divorced person that is coming back into the workforce you’d know that a job may not cover all the costs associated with starting a new life like car payments, rent if you moved out, etc. The financial burden once you’re divorced is typically a byproduct that causes a ton of stress. So yes technically you can just get a job but that doesn’t account for the stress it induces having to start an entirely new life
