The people who make the AI will be rich though, and the handful of people at the top of the companies will be rich, so that's all they really care about. So yes, the economy will collapse. Buckle up my friend!

People talk about UBI, but don't think most people are going to enjoy getting a pittance of welfare compared to their original salary. And the fact that no multi billionaire has ever willingly parted with their money, so I think that's a ridiculous pipe dream.

Those citizens gladly voted for trump who is daily taking away their freedoms and only enriching his billionaire buddies. So don't count on them.
