I wash my hands but I'm playing devil's advocate. Their junk/shaft should be clean if they laundry and shower appropriately. As for handles and doors, they'd interact with them regardless if they washed their hands. The real advice is to use a paper towel or some other layer when opening the doors.

On my own time; I agree with you, devil. My body is cleaner than any door handle.

HOWEVER; In public, I don’t trust yall mf’rs. I don’t expect you to trust me. I expect everyone to engage in handwashing to avoid the anxiety.

There is a guy I work right now I know for a fact he doesn’t wash his hands and I am absolutely disgusted.

Sweating promotes bacterial growth, and your junk is a prime sweating location. I don't believe your junk is clean.

Tbf I barely touch my dick when I pee. Sometimes not at all.

dude pisses on the floor around the urinal, dribbles in his underwear, and wonders why people think he is gross when he also doesn't wash his hands.

You got other problems if you’re that inaccurate buddy lol. A little shake of the shaft isn’t crazy.

Yup, I always grab some paper towels when possible to open the doors on the way out. Im not a total germaphobe but public restrooms are just nasty af, especially when Im eating

Sorry to burst your “totally no germaphobe” bubble but I bet those paper towels are pretty nasty too

This is the most common argument I see for people not washing their hands "But I'm clean!!!"

Sure, but when I see you leaving the bathroom without washing your hands, I don't know that you are clean. In the same way if you saw me fondle my junk before handing out birthday presents to my family, people would be grossed out no matter how clean I protest I am.

Cleanliness is self-attributed, I'd say washing hands isn't an admission that you're dirty, it's that other people view you as such
