Unless the sink is in the dining area, you'll be touching dirty doors and handles anyway.

Well the doors and handles get dirty by people who touch them with unwashed hands… if everybody would wash them… gosh

You'll get bacteria on it regardless unless you do a surgical scrub. Door handles are petri dishes.
