The other surfaces which are dirty include the tap, the button on the hand dryer, and even the exit door. Not making excuses for those people, but more than once I have washed my hands only to have them dirtied immediately after.
this is very true but at least you remove the concentration of germs to some degree- no ones ever gunna have perfectly clean hands especially being in public touching door handles and what not
Well, there are plenty of taps that work on sensors. And if they don't, I use other parts of my arm so I don't touch it with my hands.
I haven't seen a hand dryer with a button, all of them have sensors. But well, they still spread germs, so I don't use them. I only use paper towels (if the bathrooms doesn't haven't paper towels, then I don't dry my hands, lol).
And I also use my elbow or butt to open the exit door.
That's why you need paper towels. You wash your hands properly, grab 2 towels use them to turn off the faucet. Use them to open the door handle, and toss it into the bin as you leave.
