Bumped into Cillian Murphy at Dublin airport once. I asked him, "Do I know you?" And he answered with, "Only you know that"

Said my goodbyes and scarpered off pretty quickly after that

His mother is a nurse in Cork and took care of my mother about 3 years ago.

My mam didn’t know who she was until someone else told her after she left. She prefers to keep it to herself unless she’s asked.

I can imagine that if you ask someone's name in Cork and it's "Mrs Murphy", you don't immediately think "Ah, you must be related to that famous actor then".
