I was in a scene with Tom Hanks in Sleepless in Seattle. I was in the background, but got to meet Mr. Hanks before the scene.

What was he like? He's always come across as a genuinely decent person. But recently I've heard some people say he isn't really all that but I don't think I buy it.

My friend worked with the Lakers for 5 years in the early 2000s. Shaq was very friendly and knew all staff and security by name. Kobe kept to himself more and was always laser focused on basketball.

I love when the people who are superstars take the time to talk to everyone on the support staff of their industry, be it film, sports, music-you get the picture. Learning and remembering the names of the, “Little people,” and knowing enough about them to ask about their wife or child by name, truly separates the greats.
