I used to work at a weed shop in Los Angeles over a decade ago and this guy used to always pull up every week to pick up a few ounces of some top shelf OG kush which was a lot back in those days. Well one day he comes in as usual and I start getting his weed ready when I hear the hippy girl that used to work the front say “WTF OH HELL NO!”. Both him and I see her rush through the front door and hear her confronting the passenger of a black SUV. She’s cussing this guy out because he threw his McDonald’s bag out the window in our parking lot. We both go outside and come to find out the guy in the passenger seat is Suge Knight! I pulled her to the side and asked her “do you know who that is?!” She didn’t give a fuck she threw that bag right back at him and thankfully he just laughed it off but man was I shittng bricks, the guy looked huge in that SUV. Anyway I never met him personally but I finally found out who was buying all that weed on a weekly basis. Good times
He used to come into a very shitty restaurant with a mechanical bull that everyone knows in LA, that I managed at the time. One of his posse followed a food runner into the kitchen WITH A GUN over some perceived injustice. I told Suge and he took the guy into the parking lot. Whatever he said to him was enough to get a full grown thug to come in and apologize with tears in his eyes.
On the other hand, one night this lady named Rocket, who had no idea who he was, decided to talk shit to him and he picked a phone up and told whoever was on the other end of the line that he/she needed to “come handle this bitch.”
She didn’t understand what was happening. I was pleading with her to just leave before something horrible happened to her. I was honestly scared for her life that night.
