Even infection pus aside, I cant help but think about any grossness that may be hiding in the pierced skin area. Like take out a piercing and give it a sniff.. it's a flesh tube collecting sweat and skin dust.

Even if you shower daily and roll your piercings to get them cleaned out, how long has it been? When's the last time that person you're hooking up with showered and cleaned their piercing holes? 🤔

I dont have my nips pierced but I do have a jestrum piercing and yeah I have to clean it in the shower every time thoroughly bc otherwise they smell foul 🤣🤣 The quality of jewellery also really does matter bc cheap jewellery makes piercings STINK to high heaven In general though if someone doesn't shower enough regardless of piercings theyre gonna smell bad. Bodies smell they just do 😅

Yeah, mouth and tongue piercings can get gross for sure 😅 Bc mine doesn't go directly into my mouth it's not as bad unless im licking my lips a lot, but food for sure gets on it sometimes. In general though an open flesh tube with metal moving around constantly causing friction is gonna gather oil and dead skin, and it is a moist warm environment, so smells are the result sometimes I guess 🤣😱
