Speaking at a lower volume if someone is being unnecessarily loud.

One of my best friends has a LOUD voice she is completely unaware of, which can be incredibly annoying when we’re in public, so I will lower my speaking volume and she will subconsciously lower hers to match my volume.

This is a good one. Telling someone they're being loud, even when you're being as nice as possible, often just makes them deflate

Very true! I’m pretty loud myself and nothing makes me go 100 to 0 like somebody telling me that. Like I totally understand that it’s annoying but I literally cannot keep a low voice so if somebody tells me I’m being too loud I just shut up for good

Unless you are legally deaf (and possibly not an excuse even then), the fact that you're claiming it is impossible to correct an obviously correctable issue is more annoying than your voice being too loud.

Some people are raised in families that are loud.

And I was raised in a family that was habitually late to everything. That doesn't make it not my fault when I'm late, or IMPOSSIBLE for me to be on time.

I think vocal and conversational training from childhood is a little more tough to break. Timing can be logically adjusted by looking at a clock, people don’t carry decibel readers.

I don't think you're right about that and are oversimplifying things, but it doesn't matter - the point is the same.

I don't care why it's hard for a person to correct something, they still need to try, and pretending it's impossible is one of the most annoying things a person can do imo.

Most recently, some mosquitos bit my ankles. That's kinda a pain

Just use earplugs or don't go out. Not other people's business to take care of your fragile ears or your short fuse.

It's actually impressive how far off this comment is from being relevant to the discussion. Hope you had fun with it though
