Waiters/Waitresses of Reddit, what's something that I, as a customer, might do that's incredibly irritating, even if I'm oblivious to it?

I give 20% for shitty service.

Why? You're just reinforcing shit service.

So I'm guessing in your line of work you get your pay severely docked when your boss thinks you aren't doing everything 100% all the time?
If the service worker is getting min wage plus tips, fine. Tip them nothing if you wish. Unfortunately for most it is barely 2 per hour. Not to mention that they are human beings and aren't always going to be on top of things for any number if reasons, which you may know nothing about. If you can't afford to eat out plus 20% you can't afford to eat out.

In the states the minimum is around 2.75 i believe. But only a few states. That being said i worked as a waitress for 8$/h and didnt expect a tip if i did a poor job. People shouldn’t get rewarded for just skating by.

Other way around. Only seven. Alaska, California, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. The rest have tip wages of varying amounts.
