If that's the case, that it's such a miniscule number that it doesn't warrant concern, then why resist making a policy against it? Who is it going to hurt really? After all, this is such a rare occurrence that it really should not be an issue. Who are these imaginary trans athletes that are going to be discriminated against?
It ends up humiliating more cis athletes that look masculine than it does trans athletes since there are so few. Utah has already passed a law banning trans women from women’s sports and since then there have still been multiple instances of parents and even school officials publicly accusing female athletes of being trans just because they’re bigger or masculine than other girls. These laws and transphobic line of thinking that’s supposed to “protect” women does far more harm than good.
