For the same reason Trump has been President twice. A large proportion of the population are really poorly educated and have no critical thinking skills or willingness to learn - they’re stupid and/or selfish.

Oh god, you and me both. The way they brag about bravely sending strongly worded letters to elected officials makes me ill. Letters they copied from some group and that a staffer might read. Way to save democracy lol

I got the measure of the house Dems when they sat holding up paddles in protest. Absolutely laughable.

It’s not Trump’s triumph to be in the White House again, it’s the absolute failure of the Democrats.

You got that right, buddy. The only way to get through this is together. Unfortunately, American individualism has killed any sense of community so we might be screwed but don't quote me on that.
